Welcome to Crimson Coalition
Crimson Coalition is a group of current and past sex workers working to improve the rights and welfare of sex workers in Queensland.
Crimson Coalition members are all volunteers and we have been busy lately working with USNQ (United Sex Workers North Queensland) on setting up a new state-wide organisation with the capacity to get funding from Queensland Health to replace SQWISI (Self Health for Queensland Workers in the Sex Industry).
The new group - RESPECT Inc. - has been formed and we have recruited our first staff members. We have two Regional Coordinators/Peer Health Educators to coordinate services, one in the North (based in Townsville) and one in the South (based in Brisbane). We have hired a Resource Designer and now we want to recruit more peer staff to fill part-time positions across the state.
Right now Respect Inc. is recruiting PEER EDUCATORS
We need peer educators for Brisbane and Cairns and two of these positions require sex work peers with Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai language skills.
